FUP 2025 Schedule (DRAFT)

FUP is jam-packed with opportunities for you to learn about community engagement, explore your own civic engagement pathway, AND how to navigate the resources and opportunites at Harvard.  The dates of FUP 2025 are August 20th-25th.   

A rough draft of the schedule is below. Please note that the schedule is subject to change. 

Wednesday, August 20th: 

          8 AM - 4 PM MOVE-IN: The First Year Office will contact you with details of 

         move-in

         4:30 PM - 5:45 PM: FUP Welcome (Introductory Games and Worksite 

         Reveal)

         6 PM - 7 PM: Dinner at Annenberg

         7:15 PM -9 PM: First Discussion Group

Thursday, August 21st and Friday, August 22nd:  

          SERVICE DAY!  First of two dedicated days working with one of our commu

          nity partner agencies. The day will start early with programming, followed by 

          a full day of service.  Discussion groups will take place in the evening. 

Saturday, August 23rd and Sunday, August 24th:  

         LEARNING DAYS! Students will be introduced to an array of campus-based 

         civic organizations. These organizations focus on improving access to educa

         tion, housing, public health, legal aid, voting, and supporting student leader

         ship development.  
 

Monday, August 25th: 

         Collaboration with other pre-orientation programs, additional reflection time 

         with community and campus leaders.
