For the first time ever, FUP2020 will be virtual! FUP2020 will be held August 19-24th, 2020. Please join us for service projects with our community partners, dialogue groups exploring issues such as gentrification, race, equity, economics, and food security as well as panels featuring local community leaders and activists. Former FUP participants report a transformational experience that results in challenging their perspectives and an introduction to the one of the most vibrant communities at Harvard—the public service community! FUP 2020...when will we know?

First congratulations on joing the Harvard community! We can't wait to meet you! You may be wondering what is going on with FUP. As of this writing, FUP will be happening but we cannot confirm any dates. Due to the ongoing pandemic and a desire to keep everyone as safe as possible; all decisions are being made based on the best availale public health information as possible. We can tell you that we have been in touch with our program partners and they are looking forward to having us return and continue to contribute to their communities. Stay tuned for messages from the Office of First Year Experience who will contact you as soon as any decisions are made. In the mean time, we encourage you to serve and educate yourself about social change; please go to Harvard ServesEverywhere for a list of ways you can keep serving through the pandemic.
